Elected fellows must have significant chemical engineering experience (generally 25 years) and have demonstrated significant service to the engineering profession. Professor You was elected at Age 39 based on his research and educational accomplishments, as well as his service to AIChE and the engineering community worldwide. This honor reaffirms the high esteem with which the colleagues and peers view Professor You’s distinctive professional achievements and accomplishments.
Professor You will be officially recognized for this significant achievement in a special event at the upcoming AIChE Annual Meeting for all AIChE Fellows to attend.
In addition to AIChE Fellow, Professor Fengqi You is also a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC) and has won 15 national/international awards over the past five years from the AIChE, American Chemical Society (ACS), American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE), and American Automatic Control Council (AACC).
