Jeff Tester elected to the 2019-2020 GRC Board of Directors

Professor Jeff Tester has been elected to the Geothermal Resources Council (GRC) Board of Directors by a vote of the membership, including peers and colleagues in the geothermal community. Tester will spend the next two years involved in a busy program of events and activities that aim to increase awareness of geothermal energy across society, in the USA and abroad. The next GRC Board Meeting will be held on Sunday February 10th, 2019, at Stanford University, ahead of the 44th Annual Geothermal Workshop. Read more

The President’s Council of Cornell Women (PCCW) has awarded Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Graduate Women’s Group a PCCW Microgrant in the amount of $500. PCCW members are delighted to provide this in support of the W.O.M.E.N. Outreach Event. About the Event WOMEN Outreach is a one day event for female high school sophomores to explore the world of science and engineering. Provost Diversity Fellowship recipients are also among those fellowship recipients recognized as Graduate School Dean’s Scholars. The core purpose of the prestigious distinction of Dean’s Scholar is to develop a community of diverse scholars through which connections are established and maintained across all graduate fields.
